Leinster’s European Cup and Pro14 trophies to go on display in Dundalk this Friday

The European Cup and Pro 14 trophies won by Leinster Rugby this season will be on display in Dundalk this Friday.

The trophies will be on view in the Town Hall on Crowe Street from 10am to 12 noon with members of the public invited along to check them out.

The province, with local man Rob Kearney on board, won the European Cup for the fourth time courtesy of a 15-12 win over Racing 92 in Bilbao in May.

They then completed a superb double with a 40-32 win over Scarlets in the Pro 14 final at the Aviva Stadium later that month.

Local councillor John McGahon, a member of Dundalk Rugby Club, thanked Louth County Council on social media for organising the trophies being on display in Dundalk.
