Louth County Council have unveiled plans for a new Sustainable Garden at Blackrock Park on Sandy Lane in Blackrock.

The sustainable garden includes the provision of new lamp standards confined to a part of the park only, a street charging unit, an information panel and a power supply unit consisting of solar photo voltaic panels, a wind turbine and a battery.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development may be inspected or purchased, at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy until Wednesday December 5th 2018, inclusive, during public opening hours at the Louth County Council offices at the Millennium Centre or the Town Hall.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, clearly marked ‘Sustainable Garden and associated works at Blackrock Park, Sandy Lane, Blackrock, Co. Louth’ may be made in writing to the undersigned at County Hall, Millennium Centre, Dundalk, Co. Louth, before 5.00pm on Wednesday 19th December 2018.
